An 8.5-inch Rear Camera Mirror also widens visibility behind the truck, helpful when the bed is loaded or a trailer is attached.
Denali Ultimate comes standard with a three-year Super Cruise subscription, including trailering capability that allows hands-free driving on more than 965,000 kilometres of compatible roads across Canada and the United States, even while towing. Automatic Lane Change and Turn Signal Initiated Lane Change add further support for longer 401 corridor drives.
Exterior
The 2027 Sierra 1500’s exterior has been rebuilt around what GMC calls machine-precision forms, with a stance designed to feel more grounded on the road than the outgoing generation. The signature headlamp and taillamp shapes remain recognizable, now enhanced with available welcome and farewell light animations and GMC’s signature WOM lighting elements. A more vertical grille gives the front end a squared, confident face — a look that stands out whether the truck is parked downtown or lined up at a border crossing.
Each trim carries its own exterior identity, including available quad exhaust outlets on select models. AT4X separates itself further with an exclusive hood design and a 2-inch suspension lift, adding the clearance useful for the rural roads throughout Essex County. Rather than a single shared design across the lineup, GMC has built each trim to visually match how it’s meant to be used.
Interior
Inside, the cabin has been completely redesigned across every trim level, introducing exclusive colourways and upgraded materials throughout. Available real wood trim accents appear across the lineup, moving up to forged wood on the Denali Ultimate, and an available panoramic sunroof brings in noticeably more natural light than earlier Sierra generations. Crew cab front-row head and leg room is now class-leading, a meaningful improvement for drivers spending time on the highway between Windsor and the surrounding region.
Comfort hasn’t pushed practicality aside. An all-new available MultiPro centre console opens into an extended work surface, complete with available USB charge ports, giving drivers a functional spot to manage paperwork or devices without cluttering the interior.
